Recently, I had the joy of writing words for my friend Thurlow Weed’s tune Appleton. Now, in a beautiful reversal, Thurlow has composed a new tune—Monasterevin—for words I wrote on 4 December.
It’s a gift to see how our work continues to weave together: sometimes the music comes first, sometimes the words, but always they find harmony.
