Easter Monday Reflection
Easter Monday arrives quietly. The liturgy insists it is still the Feast—still the first day of new creation, still the astonishment of the empty tomb. Yet the modern world slips back into its routines, as though nothing cosmic has shifted.
But the Church keeps singing: “This is the day the Lord has made.” Not was made—is. For eight days we stand inside Easter morning, held in the light that broke the stone and undid the night.
And even if the world treats today as ordinary, the truth does not dim.
Christ is risen, still.
Hope is risen, still.
Love is risen, still.
Alleluia.
