Over time, I’ve found a natural rhythm emerging in my writing.
Tuesdays: Pilgrim Hymns—from the road.
Thursdays: Altar Hymns—from the quiet.
Some hymns are shaped by walking—by coastlines, city streets, curlews and tide.
Others come more quietly—in prayer, in stillness, in the slow work of reflection.
So going forward, I’ll be sharing hymns twice a week:
On Tuesdays, a Pilgrim Hymn—from the road, from the places where Christ meets us in the world.
On Thursdays, an Altar Hymn—from the quiet, shaped by prayer and the life of the Church.
Holding to this rhythm also makes space for my fiction writing, which will continue separately.
As always, some pieces may still appear sooner when the moment calls for it.
Thank you for reading, and for walking this path with me.
—Michael
