NeuroDivine

celebrating neurodivergence and spirituality

This hymn was written as a prayer of presence and sending — rooted in the Celtic landscape, centered on the Eucharist, and alive with the missionary fire of the saints. It gathers altar, land, and people into one act of worship: Christ present among us, Christ restoring us, Christ sending us forth.

May it be both still well and steady flame—a song for pilgrims who pause, receive, and rise again in grace.

Before Your holy altar, Christ,
We stand on hallowed ground;
Like pilgrims pausing by a well,
Your living grace is found.

The saints of this dear land once prayed
By shore and stony cell;
So now in bread and cup You come,
Our Lord, Emmanuel.

The quiet fields breathe peace again,
The hills hold ancient light;
In every wind‑worn, sacred place
Your presence meets our sight.

You gather us as one in You—
A people reconciled;
O High King, sheltering and sure,
Restore Your wandering child.

Then send us forth in Brigid’s flame
And Patrick’s steadfast way;
To bear Your mercy through the land
And live Your love each day.
